TRANSFORMATION OF THE CITY

We seek transformation of the city of Memphis through churches and ministries that combine Christian faith and Christian action. Our vision is the transformation of the city of Memphis through the building of God's Kingdom in the following areas:

• Spiritual
• Educational
• Economic
• Relational       

Our donors are investing strategically to achieve this transformation of the city.  Since our founding in 1998, our donors have given over $150 million through Hope.  Of this amount, almost 75% stayed in Memphis and more than 75% went to Christian ministries serving primarily the educational and other needs of youth and families as shown below:

The Vision is also being implemented through our Hope For Memphis Fund.

The Hope for Memphis Fund was established by the Hope Foundation to invest strategically in Christian organizations seeking City transformation.  The Fund makes grants or loans from the surplus and earnings of the Hope Foundation and from donations made to the Fund by others.  As a result of our continued growth and financial strength, all surplus funds earned from operations and fees from new donor advised funds are added to the Hope For Memphis Fund.
