HOW IS HOPE DIFFERENT?

• We are the largest Christian community foundation in the United States.
• We have a Christian focused vision for the city of Memphis and strive to support and serve the many Christian ministries making a difference in the city.
• We give away all surplus earnings and fees on new donor advised funds through our Hope for Memphis Fund.
• Through the Generous Community Initiative, which we sponsor, we seek to increase giving in the City.
• We emphasize giving & not building an endowment.
• We focus on the concept of "Strategic Christian Giving" which seeks effectiveness in areas of greatest need through support of Christian ministries.
• Approximately 75% of our donors' giving has gone to support Memphis based, Christian ministries
• We are pro-actively implementing our vision by networking with ministries and donors and by direct financial support from our surplus funds.
• Through our State of the City Reports research, we attempt to educate, inform and raise the awareness of important issues with our donors and others in the City.
